Latest bit of craftiness from me, ’tis a journal made entirely from stuff I found by rummaging around other peoples’ rubbish. (I call it Encounters with Weaselettes.) Not real rubbish though; perfectly usable rubbish because it’s a present for meine Mudder (which is German, apparently, for Mutha). Posting this picture also fulfills my personal goal to include at least one bit of visual aid with each entry, a goal set for my more textually disadvantaged readers (sounds like an oxymoron)–HAH. No, but I jest. Nur SPAβ, as they say here. Ich liebe auch Fotos!
Speaking of pictures, last week I put by tablet to good use with many, many drawings of pigs. The book that my illustrations (the one pictured below is only one of many) were supposed to illustrate is a famous German children’s book about a pig named Rudi. I did it as a favor for my mother (she needed visual aids too, for a presentation she was doing) but ’twas great fun. Commissions are great fun.

I’m unable to post better photographs, because I have no camerawwww. But to stay on the topic of pictures for a while, I discovered a social bookmarking site that specializes in photos. It’s irritating me to death, because it’s an exclusive members only website that I feel like I must join. I understand the psychology behind this, and how it’s manipulating me, but I’m just a happy little puppet, or I will be, as soon as I receive an invite.
I’ve decided to include a lie, a very sneaky and deliberate fib, into every forthcoming fwentry, including this one. I need more practice in lying with ease. Whosoever discovers the lie shall receive a gift! Just to keep me on edge.

Saturn in Tübingen has Panasonic a point-and-shoot camera with a Leica lens for 149€. it’s easy to get good pictures with little effort. they might have a couple ones that people returned for no reason and have a reduced price.

Liar! You didn’t draw these as a favor for your mother.
